Noticing a theme? I can get pretty obsessive about certain things, I'm sure you haven't noticed! =)

Wearing Now: Back to the Basics
Silk Blouse - Lauren Ralph Lauren
Trousers - BCBG
Belt - Gucci
Pearl and Onyx Necklaces - My mother's, gifted
Shoes - Yves Saint Laurent
Monday was a complete drag - one of the negative side effects of not consuming a double-tall-nonfat-caramel-macchiato from the downstairs Starbucks. Trying to kick my $4 dollar-a-day habit comes at a serious price, friends, so I will gladly return to the gods that make my coffee, wallet in hand. I'm absolutely certain they've missed me after my one day hiatus! =)
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Wearing Now: Pleats & A Blazer
Gray Blazer - Max Azria Runway
Pale Dress - H&M
Necklace - Banana Republic
Belt - J.Crew
Heels - Emporio Armani
Purse - Chanel
Happy Monday, friends! I had a great weekend: part relaxing (lovely park time, a couple of great movies) and part carousing (a fantastic dancing night in SOMA/the Mission with Michele and Amanda at DNA Lounge, followed by Butter and then followed by lots and lots of re-hydration).
Hubby and I also spent time in Hayes Valley (for belgian mussels and frites) and the Haight (where I teetered in my Proenza Schoulers and then limped the last few steps home). We brought back these cool shoes for the hubby:
Made entirely out of recycled materials and the soles are made of tire tread! $55 by Simple.
After a weekend like this, I'm reminded why I love living in San Francisco - so many things to do, so many areas to see. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Weekend Wear: The Proenzas Meet the Ground
Oversized Cardigan - Rachel Rachel Roy
Dark Skinny Jeans - Forever21
Necklaces - A mix of Banana Republic and Forever21 and random
Purse - Chanel
Heels - Proenza Schouler
I love these shoes so much, can you tell (by the picture overload?)?! They're surprisingly alright to walk in. I won't dare say easy because 5.9" heels on a 1.7" platform cannot qualify as easy under any circumstances. But I'm 6'2" with these heels on and it makes me feel strangely/happily on top of the world. =)

New Things
Newly acquired loves:
Blazer - Rachel Rachel Roy
Dress - H&M
I recently shared with you that I had discovered eBay - woohoo! And now, I'd like to introduce you to my first eBay purchase, Proenza Schouler Fall '09 heels!!
I had seen these architectural heels on the runway, various bootie versions on Sea of Shoes and several other blogs, and I ever so reluctantly held off during the Barney's winter sale when they were marked down, twice!
So you can imagine how thrilled I was for a second chance at these shoes, brand new in box with shoe bags (I still need to figure out all of the crazy abbreviations!!). I don't think I snagged a better deal than Barney's, but nevertheless I'm thankful. Gotta love eBay and second chances!
Thank you for all of your awesome comments. I love reading them and it still gets me excited everytime you leave one =)
Happy Friday!

Wearing Now: Tribal Shirt & Khakis
Happy Thursday!
I've been wearing this shirt since I "stole" it from my mom's closet about 4 or 5 years ago. Always a sucker for good silk shirts, that's me! The boxy shape never worried me but now it's what draws me back to it more than ever.

Silk shirt - Vintage

Belt - Urban Outfitters
Shoes - Christian Louboutin

(just checking if anyone's reading...haha)
Hope you have a great day! =)

Weekend Wear: Napa Again
After Friday's festivities, we spent Saturday in Napa and it was lovely! We tasted at Opus One, Peju and Regusci (favorite!), dined at Go Fish and picked up a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake on our way home. Amaaazing.
I was so excited to finally wear the dress I had picked up at a recent Macy's sale event (which happens so frequently, it seems!). From Rachel Rachel Roy, it was marked all the way down to $32. Seriously! And I could throw a blazer over it and add simple pumps for an office work day anytime! I love easy dresses!
Dress - Rachel Rachel Roy
Necklace - Banana Republic
Booties - Giuseppe Zanotti
Purse - Chanel
All smiles (and several glasses of wine deep)!

Afternoon Craving: Open Toe Bootie
I could definitely make use of a pair of these:
Have a wonderful Monday afternoon!
Weekend Wear: One Shoulder
Dress - Banana Republic
Belt - J.Crew
Cardigan - French Connection
Booties - Giuseppe Zannotti
Purse - Chanel
Bracelet - Forever21
I kicked off my birthday weekend in this fun one-shouldered dress from Banana Republic. Enjoyed a lovely dinner at Slanted Door (one of my favorites) with the hubby and met up with friends for a loungey night in the Marina. We were all in awe of the weather - who would have thought we could walk out in light cardigans for the evening and survive? It is the beginning of Spring, indeed! Happy Monday!!

Weekend Wear: Slouchy Cardigan + Short Dress
I'm back from Connecticut! And because I don't have anything else for you, I'm sharing a look I didn't get to post a few weekends ago -
Dress - Zara
Cardigan - French Connection
Booties - Giuseppe Zanotti
Purse - Chanel
Sunglasses - Forever21
I wore this down to Union Square to walk the dogs and get coffee with the hubby. Yeah, so I got a few weird stares.
Not exactly "walking the dogs" attire, ANH!
But it's ok. I can't get away with wearing this at work and I can't always try to be up til 2am with the fun crowd (although my friends, hubby and I have been putting in an earnest effort lately, bravo!)!

Wearing Now: Bright and Cheery
I picked up this bright little trench coat over the weekend after a friend let me know about a promotion at H&M (bringing the price down to $35, thanks Jacque!)! It's obviously not up to par with the trench coat I was hoping to add to my closet someday soon (khaki, wrinkle-free, and Burberry, of course!) but I think I'll enjoy this one nevertheless.
The weather has been awesome here (can you tell?) but I'm leaving it for the East Coast for another quick 17 hour trip this week. Have a wonderful Tuesday!
Trench coat - H&M
Wrap Dress - Diane vonFurstenburg
Heels - Emporio Armani
White laptop bag - Charles David (yeah, really!)

Art in the Square & Wine in the Park
Spent another lovely Sunday afternoon in Union Square. It's relaxing to soak up the sun while people-watching and getting the daily caffeine fix.
Dress - Banana Republic
Jacket - H&M
Flats - Elie Tahari
Purse - Chanel
And after we drop the puppies off at home (always puppies, even at 6 years old...), we relax in the park with wine. This is pretty much a good-weather ritual. Cheers!

Weekend Wear: Jean Paul Gaultier for Target
I am loving this dress. Seriously, loving. When I purchased it at Target.com (since I hadn't been in the store to see any of the items) one of the reviewers said that this was the "sleeper hit" of the entire line, and I have to agree wholeheartedly.
I can see how the length might be a bit off for the petite girls (I'm 5'8" without heels and it hits right at the knee. Unfortunately the cross-body detail makes hemming out of the question (at least to my amateur eyes). The fabric was also reviewed as "cheap," but I think it's perfectly light for spring and summer. Also, I chose to stick with the XS although I ordered both the XS and S just in case.

And a few shots with more practical "errand-running" flats:

Wearing Now: Printed Shirt...and That Missoni Skirt Again
Skirt - Missoni
Shirt - Zara
Necklace - Banana Republic
Shoes - Emporio Armani
Purse - Chanel
Happy Wednesday, friends! You saw this skirt paired with a striped shirt, here. And you also saw it paired with nude tones, here. This one goes down as the look from 1968. Did I get the decade right?
Anyways, thanks for your comments yesterday! It's good to know that there are a few of you out there that enjoy mobile shopping as much as I do (apparently, now). And please do continue to share your favorite iPhone shopping apps!! The more the merrier especially for those long waits at airports. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Techy Talk: It Must be Bad When...
I've resorted to making purchases from my iPhone???
Does anyone else do that?
I was happily enjoying a lovely park picnic (with wine and salami and sandwiches, yum!) on Sunday with the hubby while doing some Blogger catch-up on my iPhone. Thanks to Veronika's post on the Jean Paul Gaultier for Target line (thanks, Veronika!!), I immediately went to the Target site to see the line and picked this up:
Yep - did the whole darn checkout process from my iPhone. Truly amazing. Or maybe this is old news and maybe my shopping habits aren't really that bad?
Ok, Wishful thinking. ;)
So, is this old news? Have I now introduced myself to dangerous iPhone shopping? Do you shop on your phone?
