Silk blouse - Diane von Furstenberg (from my sister!)
Polka dot skirt - H&M (recent find)
Velvet pumps not shown - Brian Atwood
Purse - Chanel
These are the biggest polka dots I've worn...
ever. But stepping out of your comfort zone every once in a while can be a
good thing and sometimes even a
great thing. Other items I've initially felt were out of my comfort zone? Skinny jeans, horizontal stripes and bright pink lipstick just to name a few, and now big, fun polka dots!
Have you stepped out of your comfort zone lately?
I adore polka dots and I love how you combined them with such a fun pattern! Chic as always Anh!! Your outfits always inspire.

Great outfit, Anh. The blouse is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI never thought I would wear skinny jeans, they were way out of my comfort zone. Now I wear them quit a bit, love them especially with boots.
Breaking out of your comfort zone can definitely be a great thing. I used to think that the army-inspired jacket trend wasn't for me, but now I own two and positively love them. This outfit is a really beautiful and creative mix of prints, and you look great!

I love the blouse! I never would have thought to mix similar patterns! Mixing two different patterns scares me enough. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteLeopard print is really outside of my comfort zone but I've been incorporating it gradually into my looks. =)

You are right about trying new things. For some time, I too refused to try skinny jeans. Now I rock them all the time! lol

Great Choice Girl
ReplyDeleteI finally tried out wearing oxfords. I was hesitant because I didn't know if it would look too odd with my big (size 10) shoes. I chose a pair with lot of spectator-ish details to make the expanse of leather not seem so long, and I think it's working out :)
ReplyDeleteLove the polka dots!
I love the polka dots and how you mixed everything. Love the hair too!
ReplyDeletebrilliant mix!
ReplyDeleteYou mix patterns so well. I love it!
