Blouse - Thrifted (Sf Vintage Expo)
Skirt - H&M (very old)
Belt - Forever21 (came with a skirt)
Heels - Yves Saint Laurent
Whoa, I've been feeling brave lately, and let me number the ways:
- I chopped off my hair (ok, only 5 or 6 inches - but that's still a lot for a longtime, long-haired gal!) (and I promise, promise, I will try to have a hair curling tutorial soon!)
- I'm sporting this mixture of leopard prints to the office (yes, indeed.)
- ...and I avoided both the Saks & Sephora Friends & Family discounts. (That's a pretty big deal.)
What's one fall item you've been lusting after but can't quite find?

Great leopard on leopard combo!! The contrast of big and small patterning makes it work and the belt is a great break-up! Love your hair too! :)

Great outfit! I love the pattern mix.
ReplyDeleteI've been lusting after a camel sheath dress. I see them in all the fall magazines and have yet to fine one in a store.
Beautiful as always - and LOL I always get side tracked too when looking for something specific!
ReplyDeleteTry Zara they have a great chocolate brown bootie. I have it posted in my blog: besoslynn.blogspot.com
ReplyDeletePerfect pairing of prints by the way. It works. If your coworkers are anything like mine, they will be doing double takes all day!
How unexpected, but it totally works! The bold print top and the small print skirt is a fantastic combo. I'm in love with that skirt.

Kudos to you for wearing this combination to the office. I don't know if I could be that brave... I love your YSL shoes! I would like to see more of them, I recently had my first big shoe splurge and they were YSL! The Palais black suede, and I LOVE them because they are sooo comfortable!

P.S. I managed to avoid the Saks F&F sale as well (everything I wanted was an exception!) but I don't think I'll be as lucky with the Sephora F&F....
I've been dying for a military inspired cape. I can't seem to find one that I can't live without online and haven't had the time to search for it otherwise. Any suggestions??

Wow - you look fabulous in the leopard on leopard! I think you are the rare type of person who really makes the outfit work (i.e. this would not work on me ;) )
ReplyDeletebrave indeed. head to toe in leopard is tough to pull off but you wear it so well! what about these (http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=282574492713490&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446362341&R=469654919500&P_name=See+by+Chloe&sid=12BE2D695EBA&Ntt=see+by+chloe+shoes&N=0&bmUID=iLzzr15), they might work.

Love that skirt! ...the whole outfit actually!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely know what you mean! I had long hair all my life until earlier this year, when I decided my hair needed a change and chopped off about 6 inches of my hair too. I love that my hair has much more volume now. The curls suit you very well.
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for the perfect pair of booties but just can't find what I want. So the search continues.
LOVE this skirt!! And hats off to your for rocking both at the same time. It totally works!

Gorgeous outfit Anh! Brave girl for wearing that to your conservative workplace but I'm sure you wowed while keeping your professionalism. I LOVE that blouse, how lucky that you found that while thrifting!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Jen
This is a lotta look, but you make it look effortless!

Yes, daring, but do love the big-little pattern pairing! My workplace, which is medical and carries a strict dress code, doesn't allow me much fashion-freedom, so the extent I wear animal patterns are a pair of Jimmy Choo's that have a very subtle leopard print!
ReplyDeleteFantastic combination! It's bold, yet chic at the same time.
ReplyDelete@Desert Flower, you may want to try Mango for a camel sheath dress. I think I saw that style in the store. Good luck!
i love the way you mix patterns. it looks great on you.
ReplyDeleteWow I am loving you hair! The outfit is awesome too :) cant wait for the tutorial!
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought that multiple animal prints together could look so classy! I love this look!
ReplyDeleteBeing brave suits you well! LOL Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous, can't wait for the tutorial. The leopard prints I never would have thought would work together, but wow. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI think I am now seriously coveting those E&J boots, although I also love the Alexander Wang's. I am on the hunt for some classy over-the-knee boots that will fit my calves!
LOVE the shoes!
ReplyDeletereally?you can cut your hair all by yourself?wow! I like the result. You look cute, so much more on your outfit. It's a leopard combo, animal prints is so IT.
ReplyDeleteReally really awesome mix of prints!
ReplyDeleteBrave and I love it!
