Just as I was convinced it was about that time of the year to pack away the shorts and take a mental inventory of my fall gear... The summer seems to have returned with a vengeance!
That won't deter me from daydreaming, though, and stubbornly at the top of my must-find list are:
- Chocolate brown ankle boots (whether it be lace-up, zip-up, wrap-around or shearling)
- Something to wear with my olive tights, inspired by this image
- A luxurious cape as a throw-over-anything topper
So many things I swoon over, but alas a nice pair of tan pumps would do the trick.

ReplyDeleteAnkle boots are also at the top of my list, but I'm on a budget and found myself drooling over some Willam Rast boots. I'm sobbing at them being hot and more than I care to spend at the moment

ReplyDeleteThe spat boot is #1 on my list, a good sized bag from Marc by Marc Jacobs for work in a taupe color and a good work dress - I have been looking the DVF collection. The goal here is to invest in solid pieces that will carry me for a few years. Oh and a good round toe black pump for work. I found one on Bluefly but I have a feeling it's gone by now (Jimmy Choo's at a decent price!) I did buy the faux shearling jacket at H&M for $30 - yes, a good steal but I just don't know if it fits right. Also, I would love to buy another Tucker for Target piece since the one camisole I purchased has been something that I have been wearing regularly, esp. during my NYC trip 2wks ago. Oh and the Mulberry line will debut on Oct. 10th - so that's another thing i'll be keeping my eye on!
