The huge Union Square Levi's flagship store was closed for the private party and their wonderful staffers were on hand to help measure, fit and troubleshoot all of our questions. Levi's Senior VP of Women's Merchandising & Design, You Nguyen, gave us a thorough description of the research and technology behind the CurveID line. He had 3 models before us - all size 27 in jeans - but with such spectacular differences in shape! It was fantastic to see the 3 shapes in action (Slight Curve, Demi Curve and Bold Curve) and to see how each shape fit the models. I was instantly a believer in the concept of CurveID. Smart, Levi's, very smart!
After being measured and grabbing a handful of jeans to try on for size and shape, I came home with a complimentary pair of my very own pair of Levi's CurveID Demi Curve jeans. Thank you Levi's! I'll be sure to have an outfit post and review for the jeans soon enough...but let's just say the hubby already approved with raised eyebrows and a whistle! =)
*For the Bay Area ladies - you can also get your free pair of CurveID jeans at their "Wear What Fits" event in Union Square on Friday, September 17 at 10am! Donate an item that doesn’t fit and you’ll get something that does – a free new pair of custom fit Levi’s Curve ID jeans! First 1,000 attendees. Get there early!

I really like the sizing and the affordability of Levis. I bought my first pair of skinny jeans at the Levi store in Chicago.

Jealous of the events you get to attend! I can't wait to find out my curve ID. One of my friends already picked up a pair and loves them. I wish they had that free jean event here in Toronto!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I don't live near a Levi's store, but I can't wait until these come to Macy's or Nordstroms. I'm definitely a Bold Curve and I'll be so happy if these actually work for my butt!
