Weekend Wear: Trench Coat

Trench coat - Burberry
Skirt - BCBG
Purse - Chanel
Heels - Zara

A few of my favorite details on this coat?
  • the "D" rings on the belt in the back that keep it in place - I'll never fear of losing it!
  • the epaulets and fancy-schmacy detail behind the collar (even though I have no idea what they're for...)
  • the back vent and leather covered buckles...
Ok, I pretty much love everything about it!  =)

Apart from the anniversary celebrations this weekend, I also spent a lovely part of Saturday poolside for David's birthday (happy birthday!!!!).  It was 98 degrees in Pleasanton and the pool was such a treat, as were the grilled cheese sandwiches poolside, frosty beverages and catching up with old high school friends!

Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!

  3. I knew you would look amazing in it ! I was right ...as always ...Fantastic birthday present. I don't think that my husband has a clue about Burberry, Chloe or Miu Miu. Last time I was drooling over Dior pumps he said : ouh they make shoes, I thought they were into perfumes ....And I love him in spite of this shameless ignorance !

  5. After seeing your Burb...it's official. I'm ready for fall. Is it fall yet?

It's gorgeous, and I can't wait to see how you style it as the weather cools down. Hubby did a great job picking it out.

  7. Absolutely stunning! A great classic and your DH has great taste!

I have 2 lovely trench coats from Banana and Jcrew, but still there's nothing like a Burberry one.

    Looks great!!!!

  8. Ack! You look super beautiful! Enjoy your anniversary present. I love my vintage one that I have, but I'm looking for a shorter one. I've got my eye on a couple for fall. They're so well made, and you just feel classy when wearing one. Great first anniversary present--it will last you forever.
