On Haircuts and Habits

Remember this post where I confessed to having twice yearly haircuts?  [Ouch.]

I'm saying good-bye (good riddance!) to that bad habit, I've finally found a stylist in San Francisco that I trust completely!  (And he also happens to be a make-up artist and stylist - talk about triple threat!)

After my first cut with Clifford of CliffordStyle in March, I wore my hair down more than I ever have in my life (friends and family can attest to it, I'm sure). After my second cut just 4 months later (a solid 2 month improvement over prior years!), I'm convinced that's he's the one.  You know, the best stylist ever. =)

  1. Your hair does look beautiful! I'm nearly as bad as you, I go months before biting the bullet and getting that much-needed trim. I've had sooooooo many chop jobs, so I'm always paranoid.

  2. Your hair looks very healthy! I'm the same way, I go twice MAYBE three times a year.

Finding a good stylist is HARD. I'm still looking! Glad you found yours!

  6. It's straight!!! I love how shiny and healthy it looks.
Finding a good hair stylist is like looking for a job. :) I'm one of those people who only goes a few times a year, but it has been hard to find someone who does hair well, doesn't take off too much when you just want a trim and who doesn't charge an arm and leg for services.

  8. Ahn, thank you for recommending Clifford. I went to go see him about two weeks ago and LOVE the way my hair came out. I come from the South Bay but he was worth it. Thanks to you I have also found "the one". :-)

  12. I'm just as bad about getting mine cut and am going through a stylist funk. Your hair looks great though- It's amazing what a good haircut can do for a girl!

  13. I avoided getting a haircut if I could for the longest time and I would be cheap too if I did need a trim so I didn't always have great hair.

But since I finally settled on an amazing stylist, I just keep coming back for regular haircuts and they're fabulous each time! I definitely know the feeling! =)

Since I don't trust anyone I cut and layer it myself!

  17. Twice a year? A bad thing? I never get a haircut more than twice a year! I never get split ends and my hair looks good...Besides I am too lazy to go to the hair salon.

Good for you that found "the one". A good haircut can actually save a lot of trips to the salon.
