I've always loved the oh-so-awkward length of these shorts - definitely not daisy dukes, but not quite long. It has always worked, though, when paired with a loose top with some extra length. (I think I saw a similar odd-length version at Forever21 in case you're interested!)
What are your plans this weekend? I have absolutely no plans - and after last weekend's fun festivities, it's probably for the best! Actually, we did pick up a few DVDs earlier this week (It's Complicated, Invictus and Avatar). That's most likely going to be the plan.

ReplyDeleteI watched Its Complicated on the plane back from L.A. last month, very "Something's Gotta Give" but I loved it... How can you not? Unless you hate Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin (who I both LOVE)... Have a great wkd!!

I just bought a pair of shorts like this for our upcoming vacation. We are going to do a lot of physical activity and I didn't want something too short, so I found this to be the perfect length on my frame. They are a bit awkward, but I wore them yesterday with a loose top and it looked cute. You, of course, wore them well as always! Happy Weekend!

It's really depressing seeing your "weekend wear" outfit post as I'm just starting a long day of work : ) Only long-legged you can pull off the awkward length shorts. I don't dare imagine how they would look on me.
