Wearing Now: All Linen

Linen shirt - Lafayette 148
Linen pencil skirt - Zara
Necklace - Banana Republic
Belt - Urban Outfitters
Shoes - Emporio Armani

I love linen.  That is, until I've been wearing it for about 3 minutes and 42 seconds.  Long enough to sit down, say my ABCs and stand up again.  =)

I found this shirt on clearance at an Off Saks Fifth Avenue.  Stores like that (also: Neiman Marcus Last Call, Nordstrom Rack, Loehmanns) have been essential for building my collection of work blouses.  And with years and decades of work ahead of me, I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing work blouses more than anything else in my life.  It's worth it, then, right?  I think so.

Also - J.Crew was most certainly paying attention to my wishes yesterday (thank you J.Crew!), because the cropped trousers went on sale! 

Unfortunately for me, only in black.  But maybe fortunately for you?  =)

  8. Wonderful as always. Please do a tutorial on the hair. I have the same length, but no matter what I do I cannot get volume at the crown to stay.
