Zac Posen for Target Skirts
My pics from the Zac Posen by Target line? The Tuxedo skirt in black ($39.99) and in flowery brocade ($49.99), both in size 3. They fit amazingly well on the high waist, are fitted through the hips, made with thick "expensive" feeling zippers and structured fabric, and (always a good surprise for Target) they're fully lined. Just a few more detail shots:
The other pieces in the line didn't resonate with me - luckily though, because walking away from Target $90 poorer and only two Target skirts to show for it was enough to send me running to the car. Almost as quickly as I had run in.
=)
Humor aside, I'm really satisfied with these two pieces. They're definitely worth the higher price tag (in the Target world of price tags).
Did you pick up any items from the line?

I'm really curious to see a photo of the black tuxedo skirt on. My local store didn't have any in stock but I really like it!
ReplyDeleteOther than that, nothing else from the collection was a must for me. I was more impressed with the quality of the pieces compared to past designer-for-Target lines, but I couldn't convince myself anything was a need.
urgh we don't have Target in Canada :( :( :( :(

I tried that brocade skirt on and liked it but thought it was too stiff and didn't sit right on me. Plus, I just don't know if $50 is reasonable for a skirt from target... :-\ But I know you'll rock it well! :)
ReplyDeleteoh wow that flower skirt.. LOVE IT. why didn't i see that at my target :(
ReplyDeleteI got the same skirt!! I am trying to find a nice fitted top to wear it with. I am leaning towards a simple bodysuit from Zara!
ReplyDeleteI also loved the flower skirt, but they didn't have my size! I can't wait to see how it looks on you though!
ReplyDeleteI got the same black skirt. I was so surprised at the fit. I just tried it on for the heck it and ended up loving that piece the most. Can't wait to she how you wear it.

P.S. I'm a little slow, just made the connection that you are a fellow Nestie. You are adorable by the way. =)
can't wait to see these on! I might have to do try on that black skirt :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing the skirts! I haven't made it out to Target yet (three subway stops away, gosh I am lazy).

Can't wait to see it in a lookbook!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the skirts on you. I also bought the black skirt, the tux onsie and a blouse.
ReplyDeletehi :) My local target didn't have the skirts in stock, but target online has them. Since I can't try them on before purchasing them online, I wanted to know if you thought the size three's you got were true to size.
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous! I think the sizing runs true to size, but maybe a tiny bit small. I heard other ladies saying it ran small. If you order larger, you could also wear the skirt lower on your waist/hip. Hope that helps!! =)
