Something New: Making up for Paris

One thing I didn't mention in my Paris updates from the other week: I came back to the States empty handed.

Not for lack of trying!

I had checked out my favorite department store, Le Bon Marche, with my aunt and cousin and spent my one free evening at Opera (where the massive Galeries Lafayette department store takes up several major blocks).  I found that prices in the US were still so much cheaper!  As much as I wanted to bring something Parisian home, I just didn't do it.  Except for the few extra pounds along my waistline from all of the delicious food I consumed, that surely counts!!! =)

Here's to making up for Paris (and Outlet Shopping in Orlando!).  And now I'm off to enjoy a glass of white wine!  Have a wonderful evening!

  3. So cute! I wish I was graceful enough to invest in a pair of armani shoes! I'd fall and scuff them up within a day...

  4. Yeah shopping was way more expensive in Europe. Nothing beats our Neiman Marcus LastCall.

  5. Yep...shopping is cheapest in the state. All my colleagues from europe when they travel to the U.S for business always leave with suitcase full of stuffs they buy from America.

Beside, I agree that Neiman Marcus Lastcall store is the best place to score great designer deals at fraction of retail cost.
