It's supposed to rain for the next ten days or more, so I'm taking advantage of the last sunny day we have for a long dreary time. Looks like my rain boots are going to get a lot'a love!
I know I've mentioned how much I adore cardigans - they're a staple in my closet and very much my style. I haven't worn them often lately, so I'm pulling out a special one. I outfitted my bridesmaids and I in gray JCrew cardigans for a few of the group wedding shots. This is the one I wore:
Cardigan - JCrew
Houndstooth Blouse - Zara
Graphic Print Skirt - Club Monaco
Skinny Belt - Urban Outfitters
Necklace - Banana Republic
Nude Heels - Christian Louboutin
Purse - Chanel
And here's a shot of the cardigans in action on the wedding day:
Have a great weekend everyone!

Great outfit! I particularly love the mix of patterns (skirt and blouse) and how well they work once you put the cardigan over it to sort of neutralize the difference!
ReplyDeleteI meant to ask these questions but I keep on forgetting them:)
ReplyDelete1) How long does it take you to get ready for work in the morning?
2) Do you set away what you are going to wear for work the night before? or Do you just go with whatever you feel like that morning?
I love to dess up more for work, but I can't get up early enough, and most of the times, I just wear the easiest look that requires no thinking:)
So cute, love the ruffles on the cardi! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletehi there, i just started following your blog and must tell you how much i love your style! it's nice to see people successfully show off their taste in clothing and trends, and it's nice that you include so many photos. while i consider myself to have good fashion sense, i think i need to take more risks so hopfully you'll inspire me to do that. :) plus i really enjoy reading all your posts!
ReplyDeleteI love this look! It's great. Your blog has inspired me to vamp up my work wardrobe!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit Anh! I love the ruffled cardigan over button up shirt. So cute how you have the sleeves out of the cardigan. My question also, how long does it take you to get ready in the morning? =)
ReplyDeleteLove it as usual Anh! You're brilliant for mixing your prints and textures that way. Sorry about your crappy weather :(
ReplyDeleteI also love that we can see your beautiful face and gorgeous hair in these images!! Perfection!
Love your blog! I especially like the way you style your outfits. It's perfect for work but chic at the same time. What brand of makeup do you use and which colors? I'm also asian and I always have a hard time getting the right makeup. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteyour ensemble is fabulous!

Thank you ladies!!! Always so great to hear your feedback =)
ReplyDeleteFabulous and Jacqueline - it takes me about 20-25 minutes for makeup & hair, and about 10 minutes for clothes. About 8 of those minutes are spent sitting on my bed looking at my open closet for motivation. Usually I start with one piece that I want to wear (like, pants or shirt or jacket) and build around that. I'm not a morning person by any means... =)
